United Church

Built in 1934, the United Church is one of three churches built in town and the only church in which services are still held. It was the first church built in Wells. John Elderkin Bellinger, the first minister described it as having two rooms at the rear of the Wells Church (kitchen with sink and full-sized range through the door from the church; living-bedroom and a drum heater in the room; outside toilet37. This church was used as a town hall facility until the community hall was constructed in 1937.
