Pooley Street, Wells. Island Mountain Mine in the background. The nearest building on the right was the Wells Museum from 1974-1997. This building was originally a Chinese Laundry and then the Miners' Union Hall. The second building was the telegraph office and attached printing shop. (possibly the Wells Chronicle building?). The fourth building held rooms for rent (possibly the Finnish boarding House ?). Inscription: "Miners Union Hall (newspaper office), Finnish Boarding House, Lumberyard".
